Santa Maria Maggiore
Santa Maria Maggiore is one of the prime attractions in Bergamo. This church was established in 1137 and is located in the upper town of Bergamo. While the interior has the original Romanesque Greek cross plan, its decorations primarily belong to the 17th-century restoration.
Piazza Vecchia Located in the heart of Città Alta - the historic neighborhood of Bergamo, this huge square holds a special place in the heart of locals as well as tourists.
