Jagalchi Fish Market

Thanks to its location, Busan is blessed with some great seafood. The Jagalchi Fish Market in Busan is the largest seafood market in the country and should not be missed. What is unique about this place is that it is majorly run by women who are called Jagalchi Ajumma. Take a stroll through this market, buy yourself some seafood and go to a nearby restaurant where they would gladly cook it for you.

Gamcheon Culture Village

Lovingly called the "Santorini on the South Sea" and the "Lego Village" Gamcheon Culture Village is located just outside Busan. The village has multi-colored cubicle-shaped houses that are lined along the hill which makes the landscape look stunning. Wander through its streets and you will be amazed at its many hidden street wall arts.

Andong Hahoe Folk Village

This beautiful village is located along the bend of Nakdong River at the foothills of Hwasan Mountains. Andong Hahoe Folk Village is a perfect place to get a glimpse of old Korea where the commoners and the elite live happily together. A popular tourist destination, do not give this one a miss.

Busan Tower

The Busan Tower is a 120 metres tall tower located in the centre of the city. Built in the year 1973, this tower offers panoramic views of the second largest city in South Korea. The Busan Tower is located inside the Yongdusan Park.

Yongdusan Park

One of the best green places in the city, this mountainous park is located in the centre of the city. Within the park you will find the Busan Tower, a cafe, restaurants, an aquarium, a temple, and some exhibition spaces. A perfect place to spend a family day, Yongdusan Park also has dedicated walking spaces.

Gyeongju

One of Korea's ancient capital cities, Gyeongju is an open-air museum and a culturally rich site that would give you a glimpse in the country's history. Gyeongju will charm you with its many ancient tombs, temples, pagodas, and palaces.

Haeundae Beach

This beach is one of the most famous in the country and stretches over 1.5 kilometers. Activities here range from water sports to downing a beer at one of its shacks.

Haedong Yonggungsa

This coastal temple was built during the Goryeo Dynasty in 1376 and is dedicated to Haesu Gwaneum Daebul (Seawater Great Goddess Buddha). The temple is east-facing and offers some stunning views of the sun rising from across the ocean.
