Day 1 In Chengdu

It would be a good idea to start the first day of your trip by visiting the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding and meet the cute pandas as well as other endangered animals. From this wonderful place, you can also visit the Chengdu Zoo as well as Zhaojue Temple. On the same day, you can visit the West Pearl Tower which is another specialty of Chengdu. Day 2 In Chengdu

After exploring the Taoists artifacts and Bronze statues, you can spend some time in the culture park and then move ahead to the Sichuan Museum. You will find a large collection of ancient pottery and Buddhist artworks in this museum. You will not want to miss this while spending one weekend in Chengdu. Relax at the Huanhuaxi Park and head to Du Fu Thatched Cottage which is one of the most favorite destinations of the city and must be a part of your 48 hours in Chengdu. Sprawling over an area of 20 hectares, this museum and park is dedicated to the Tang Dynasty. Rest of the day can be spent at the Jinsha Site Museum that houses a huge collection of artifacts and relics related to the glorious past of Chengdu.
