How to see Copenhagen in 4 days?
Day 1 In Copenhagen
Start off your first day in Copenhagen by visiting Rosenborg Castle. This beautiful castle was built in 1606 and was last rebuilt and expanded in 1624. It was used as a summer house and exhibits Dutch Renaissance style of architecture. It is located on the grounds of the Rosenborg Castle Gardens. After touring the castle, you must wander through the gardens. The garden dates back to the 17th century and is the oldest park in the city. It has many other monuments and historical buildings located on its grounds. Touring these gardens and the castle will definitely take more than 2 hours. Then make your way towards the Copenhagen Botanical Gardens. This green oasis is home to more than 13,000 species of trees, plants, and shrubs. The botanical garden places you right in the heart of nature. Have a quick lunch and then head towards Rundetaarn. This is a cylindrical tower built in the 17th century. You can climb the tower and admire the architecture. Then head towards the King’s New Square which is a lively place in Copenhagen. There are many cafes, restaurants, and shops located in the vicinity. As night falls, you can visit the Copenhagen Opera House which makes for a spectacular piece of architecture.

Let the 2nd day in Copenhagen be a museum hopping day. The city has numerous large and small museums that give you an idea about the art, culture, and history of Copenhagen. A few of the notable museums that you must visit include National Museum of Denmark, Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, and Thorvaldsen Museum. At the end of the museum hopping day, if you have time left on your hands then visit the Christianburg Palace. This palace, built in between 1907 to 1928, exhibits a mixture of Baroque, Neoclassicism, and Neo-baroque style of architecture.
Day 3 In Copenhagen
Start off your third day in Copenhagen by visiting Amalienborg. This is a complex of four palaces with identical facades and an octagonal courtyard. This is home of the Danish Royal family and the royalty is quite evident looking at the architecture. Then head towards Frederick’s Church. This marvelous church was built in between 1749 to 1894 and exhibits a Rococo style of architecture. Popularly, it is known as The Marble Church. Your next stop would be the Danish Museum of Art and Design. This is a haven for art lovers. The museum houses many antiques, starting right from clothes to furniture. It was established in 1907. Then have lunch at a good restaurant to relish some delicious Danish cuisines. Spend the rest of your third day in Copenhagen at Langelinie.
