What to see in 3 days in Dallas?
Day 1 in Dallas, Texas:
As you walk to the intersection of Young and Griffin streets, brace yourself for the biggest bronze monument to ever grace this planet. It wouldn’t be fair to call Texas a cowboy state, if there wasn’t a monument or the likes to show the settlers coming into Dallas. The Pioneer Plaza attempts to pay a tribute to the city’s cowboy past by dedicated an entire square depicting a cattle drive complete with longhorn steers driven by cowboys, all in bronze.
Address: Corner of Griffin and Young Street, Dallas, TX 75201, 75202, United States.
Dealey Plaza, Grassy Knoll, National Historic Landmark District:
One of the many mysteries that go unsolved is the second gunman on the Grassy Knoll. Right opposite the Dealey Plaza, the place from where Lee Harvey Oswald fired a round of shots on JFK’s motorcade is a small hillock which has been immortalized in history as the Grassy Knoll.
Address: 500 Main Street, Dallas, TX 75202 (Downtown Dallas), United States.
Day 2 in Dallas, Texas:
The Reunion Tower will literally broaden your horizon and then some! The unofficial symbol and a prime landmark of Dallas, the Reunion Tower was a stand-alone tower till 1998, then the Hyatt Regency was built around it, making it a part of the same premises. Standing somewhat around 50 stories high, the Reunion Tower actually has only 3 circular floors.

The White Rock Lake and its surroundings, is not something you’d want to miss! Away from the urban set-up of Dallas, lies a 70 acre plot of land that has some of the most exquisite collection of vegetation you’ll ever see. Huge gardens, old and historic residences and the lake will all be more than enough to let you forget that you live in a world different than the one perceived at the Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Gardens.
