How to Spend 1 Day in Darjeeling?

Catch the spectacular sunrise at Tiger Hill:

Start your day as early as possible and head straight to the Tiger Hill. This hill is nestled on the outskirts of the city and can be reached within half an hour from the center of the city. There is the Observatory Tower from where you can catch the view of Kanchenjunga peaks starting to bask in the magical golden light of the sun. It is an extraordinary experience to see the first ray of light touching the Himalayan peaks only to transform white snow-clad mountain range into a natural art-piece. Do not be disappointed if the morning is foggy or the peaks are hidden by the mist. The Tiger Hill is still a great spot to spend your morning at.

But, as you enter the temple, you will realize how peaceful and tranquil it actually is. You can sit in the prayer hall for as long as you want to offer your prayers.
