What to see in 3 days in Delhi?

Day 1 In Delhi

Start your day 1 of 3 days in Delhi by visiting what is said to be one of the best places to visit in New Delhi – Rajpath. The citadel of Lutyens' Delhi, here you can see the famous the Rashtrapati Bhavan – the residence of President of India, the Parliament of India – home to the highest law-making body in India, and the Cathedral Church of the Redemption – a quiet church. Next, you can either take a rickshaw or walk to the India Gate. One of the most famous monuments in India. This 42-meter-high monument was erected to honor all the soldiers who lost their lives at the North-West Frontier during World War I and Afghan Wars in 1919. Just 4 kilometers from here, you can also visit Teen Murti which was the official residence of Late Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru.

In the afternoon, you can visit Connaught Place which has a range of great restaurants and cafes. You can also shop here for souvenirs. In the latter part of the day, head to Old Delhi. Walk through the by-lanes of the heart of Purani Dilli and visit its many landmarks like Jama Masjid, Digambar Jain Temple, Gauri Shankar Temple, Bhagirath Palace, Central Baptist Church, Gurudwara Sisganj, Sunehri Masjid, Fatehpuri Mosque, Khari Baoli, Ghalib's Haveli and Chunnamal ki Haveli. It is also here that you can enjoy the much-loved Delhi street food.

Day 2 In Delhi

On the day, start your city exploration by visiting the Mehrauli Archaeological Park. His park is home to more than 100 historically significant monuments that were built over many centuries. Here you can see many monuments like Jamali Kamali mosque, Quli Khan's tomb, Gandhak ki Baoli, Rajon ki Baoli, and Madhi Masjid. From here, you can visit the Qutub Minar. One of the top attractions in Delhi, this place should not be missed. In the evening, you can visit the Garden of Five Senses. A pretty relaxed place to visit, you can also enjoy some delicious food while here.

Day 3 In Delhi

On day 3, visit yet another landmark of Delhi – the Lotus Temple. The temple complex resembles a half-open lotus, spend a few peaceful moments here before heading to the next place. Next, visit the Humayun's Tomb which is located in the eastern part of the city. Featuring one of the most impressive Mughal edifices, this monument is yet another must visit.
