Day 1 In Hyderabad

Charminar

Chowmahalla Palace

The official residence of the Nizam when they ruled Hyderabad, Chowmahalla Palace is a palace built as a replica to the Palace for the Shah of Iran. Among the first examples of European neo-classical architecture in the city, this majestic structure gives you a glimpse into the history and heritage of Hyderabad.

Purana Haveli and The Nizam’s Museum

Located in the stately Purani Haveli, The Nizam’s Museum boasts of a vast collection of memoirs which give tourists a peek into the lives of the royal Nizams, most of whom lived for a major part of their lives in the Purana Haveli. The major point of attraction in the residence is the golden wooden throne, which was used for the silver jubilee celebrations of the Last Nizam.

Salar Jung Museum

Shadab

Golkonda / Golconda Fort

Hussain Sagar Lake

Hussain Sagar Lake is Asia’s largest artificial lake which lies adjacent to the Birla Temple. Constructed in 1562 AD during the reign of Ibrahim Quli Qutub Shah, this lake can be explored by boating.

Lumbini Park

Perfect for a relaxed stroll and a breath of fresh air, Lumbini Park lies on the edge of the Hussain Sagar Lake.
