7 Days in Ibiza - Perfect 1 Week Guide
Come summer and tourists are hustling towards Ibiza - an archipelago in Spain. The best destination for those who love clubbing, Ibiza compels everyone to let their hair down and have one of their wildest vacations. Besides partying hard, you can also treat yourself to much more on this island. While the nightlife scenes are much the same (read ‘heart-pumping’) all over Ibiza, you will be amazed upon visiting the diverse towns. 7 days in Ibiza would prove to be an explosive vacation - one that you will cherish for a lifetime.
What to see in Ibiza in 7 days?
Day 1 and 2
Start off your weeklong vacation in Ibiza by visiting San Antonio town. This is one of the most beautiful places on the island and offers you a plethora of activities to indulge in. These include fly-fish, banana boating, jet skiing, parasailing, and many more. You may also visit the Caves of Can Marça or Ocean Mania to enjoy some thrilling rides. While these activities will occupy your daytime, you can spend your night hopping from one club to another. San Antonio has some of the best nightclubs that allow you to dance until wee hours. After a night of rock ‘n’ roll, spend your next day relaxing and unwinding yourself. Go exploring the many pretty beaches of Ibiza, enjoying the sun, sand, and sea. A few of the beaches to visit on this day include Cala Conta, Cala Bassa, and Cala Saladeta.
Day 3 and 4
On your third day in Ibiza, head towards Es Vedra. This is a small rocky island near Ibiza - one which is more popular for its legends. Although the island is quite mystical, tourists claim to be mesmerized upon visiting it. One must wait here till the end of the day since the small island has the most magical sunsets. Let your fourth day in Ibiza be occupied by a visit to Dalt Villa or the Ibiza Old Town. Declared to be a UNESCO World Heritage site, this place serves as an outdoor archaeological museum and has many interesting attractions to visit. These include The Cathedral Our Lady of the Snows, San Domingo’s Church, San Ciriaco Chapel, The City Council See, Iglesia de Sant Rafel, The Archaeological Museum, The Castle, and many more. Walking along the cobbled streets, you will feel as if you have stepped back in time.
Day 5 and 6
Head towards Iglesia Del Puig De Missa on your fifth day in Ibiza. This is a beautiful Catholic church, set-up at a picturesque location. It also offers panoramic vistas of the surrounding that prove to be a spectacular sight to behold. There is also a small museum called Museo Etnológico de Santa Eulalia del Río near the church. Later in the day, head towards Cala Llonga - a lovely beach just 5-6 kilometer away from the church. Relax at this powder sand beach, basking in the tranquility of nature. Spend your 6th day in Ibiza on one of its most iconic beaches called Las Salinas. While the views are breathtaking, you can also indulge in some watersports. Surrounded by Ibiza Wildlife Conservation Area, it also offers you a chance to view the local wild animals. You may even spot a few celebrities at this white sandy beach.
Reserve your last day in Ibiza for shopping. The island is famous for some hippie markets that are held on particular days of the week. There are Punta Arabi Wednesday Hippy Market, Las Dalias Hippy Market, Cala Llonga Market, San Rafael Artisan Market, Forada Market, and many more. Shopping at these markets, you will have your fill of some of the most unique items that can be found only in Ibiza. Remember to buy souvenirs for your loved ones from these markets.
With this Ibiza itinerary of 7 days in hand, you can make the most of your time on the bustling island of Ibiza.
