Day 1 In Jakarta

In the afternoon, have a quick lunch and head towards Masjid Istiqlal which is the largest mosque in Southeast Asia. It was established in 1978 and holds a capacity of 200,000 people. One of the prime features of this huge mosque is its seven entrances. Right next to the mosque, there is the Jakarta Cathedral which was built way back in 1901. This Roman Catholic cathedral exhibits Neo-Gothic style of architecture and makes for a spectacular sight to behold. As the day comes to an end, head towards Glodok or Jakarta Chinatown which has many good restaurants offering delicious Indonesian food.

Day 2 In Jakarta

Set out on a day trip to Anyer on your second day. This is one of the most favorite beach getaways amongst locals of Jakarta. The turquoise sea water accompanied by miles of sandy beaches, allow you to spend a great time while relaxing. Visitors are seen to spend an entire day until the mesmerizing sunset at Anyer beaches. The fresh seafood offered at restaurants in Anyer will tempt you to set out on a gastronomic journey. Day 3 In Jakarta
