What to see in 3 days in Ko Pha Ngan?

Day 1

On your first day in Ko Pha-ngan, set out to explore the bottom of the sea. Go diving at the nearby sites like Sail Rock and Southwest Pinnacle to unleash your adventurous site. Although Koh Tao - the neighboring island is more popular for diving, a few sites are equally near to Ko Pha-ngan. A few beaches in Haad Salad and Haad Ya are great to enjoy snorkeling. After having an adventurous day, you may spend the remaining time relaxing at one of the many beaches on the island. If you have energy, you must head towards the Thong Sala Night Market. This happening place is popular amongst many for the fresh seafood it serves.

Day 2

Opt for a boat trip on your second day. This boat tour will take you to the many beautiful beaches in Ko Pha-ngan. Taking a boat tour also makes it easy for you to reach some of the difficult spots on the island such as Ao Thong Nai Pan, Ko Ma Viewpoint, Bottle Beach, and ko Tae Nai. After the boat tour, if you have time on your hands you may take a cooking class to learn Thai food. If you aren’t much into cooking, you may rent a bike and ride it around to enjoy panoramic views. Koh Pha-ngan has steep and hilly roads, which makes it difficult to ride a bike, but the mesmerizing vistas from different viewpoints are worth all the trouble.

Day 3

On your last day in Ko Pha-ngan, go waterfall hopping. There are about seven waterfalls on the island and are quite easily accessible. If you just want to visit one waterfall, then you might as well go for a day-picnic to Than Sadet-Ko Pha-ngan National Park. The Than Sadet Waterfall in this national park is spectacular and makes for a postcard perfect picture. You may also hike along some natural trails to burn off some energy. The national park is blanketed in greenery and is a perfect retreat to escape the bustle of the island. After spending much time in the national park, head towards the Haad Than Sadet Beach. Considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, here you can relax and unwind after a happening and hectic day.
