Is $2,000 budget enough for 5-7 days in London for 3-4 people family? Where can I stay near Hampton Court Palace with my kids?

Somerset House is an Amazing venue. The architecture is splendid and during the Summer children play in the water features and during the Winter they put on events including skating and other stuff.
