In 1974 I went through check point charlie behind the wall so to speak. Which town would we stay in to visit this site now and is there anything of the history there to see.
Answer Report Abuse-
You will need to stay in Berlin as that's where the Checkpoint Charlie is located. The current address of the point is Friedrichstraße 43-45, but the only concern is that not many original structures can be found here and the point itself is said to be replaced with a replica. But, you can still stop by for some time. If you are interested in staying nearby, then here is the list of hotels near Checkpoint Charlie in Berlin.
