Day 1 in Seville

Start off your first day in Seville by visiting Alameda de Hercules. Dating back to 1574, this is a huge garden square with Roman columns and trees. It also has numerous restaurants where you can enjoy a hearty breakfast. Then head towards Palacio de las Dueñas which is a palace built in the 15th century. It exhibits a mixture of Renaissance, Gothic, and Morrish style of architecture. Take a tour of the palace and you will be able to see a huge collection of artworks. Then stop at Metropol Parasol which is an eccentric wooden structure housing a museum, a central market, a plaza, and observation deck. Then take some time admire art by visiting Seville Museum of Fine Arts. The museum is set in a 17th century palace and houses paintings of many renowned artists like Greco and Velazquez. After having a quick lunch, make a quick stop at El Divino Salvador. This Roman Catholic church exhibits Baroque style of architecture and once served as mosque which was later reconstructed into a church. Day 2 in Seville

On your second day in Seville, let your first stop be Maestranza. This is a bullring, holding a capacity of about 12,000, where one of the most famous bullfighting festival in the world is held. Then make your way towards one of the prime attraction - the Seville Cathedral. This spectacular Roman Catholic cathedral was completed in the early 16th century and is a registered UNESCO World heritage Site. Next, make a quick stop at Hospital de los Venerables. This is a 17th century historic building which served as the residence of the priests. Upon visiting this place you will be able to witness art by painter Diego Velázquez and others. The have a quick lunch at a fine restaurant in the area. Let your next stop be Royal Alcázar of Seville. This is a royal palace and another UNESCO World Heritage Site in Seville. Day 3 in Seville

Day 4 in Seville

On your last day, make a day trip to Cordoba. This is a small town, located some 140 kilometer away from Seville and takes about 1 and half hour to reach by car. The prime attraction in Cordoba is Alcazar of the Christian Monarchs. This is a palace dating back to the 1300s and displays Mudéjar-style of architecture. The palace has terraced gardens, Roman mosaics, and Gothic Towers from where you can enjoy panoramic vistas of the surroundings. Other must visit places in the small town include Torre De Calahorra, Calleja de las Flores, Archaeological Museum, Plaza de la Corredera, and Plaza de las Tendillas.
