How to spend 2 days in Shenzhen?

Day 1: Nanshan District

Home to many theme parks, some of the city’s best attractions like Shenzhen Safari Park, Shenzhen Bay Boulevard, and Nantou Ancient Town Museum are located here. Apart from this, there are many shopping avenues and food and drink options in the Nanshan District. Moreover, here you can visit the Sea World where you will find many European style restaurants, cafes, and clubs; Nanhai E-Cool for its many street side café serving excellent coffee, cakes, and snacks; Tien Hou Temple that was originally built by the Song Dynasty; Nanshan Mountain for its challenging hike; Window of the World which feature more than 130 replicas of some of the most famous sites from around the world; and Happy Valley, a popular theme park.

Day 2: Futian District

This district is the administrative, business, and financial centre of Shenzhen’s Special Economic Zone. This busy district is a shoppers’ paradise. Some of the city’s best five-star hotels are located here apart from attractions like the Exhibition Centre, The Civic Centre, Shenzhen Museum, the Central Book Mall, Library, Concert Hall and Guan Shanyue Art Gallery. If you are looking for something more peaceful, head to Coco Park. Alternatively, on this day you can also visit the Luohu District. Reminiscent of some parts of Beijing, this district also has many shopping zones and malls like MIXc, KK Mall, King Glory Plaza, and Dongmen Commercial Street.
