Day 1 in Varna

On your first day in Varna, have a filling breakfast early morning and then head towards the Sea Garden. Just as the name suggests, this is a seaside landscaped park and the largest of its kind in the Balkans. The Sea Garden is home to many attractions and visiting all of them would take your entire day. Let your first stop in the park be naval Museum. This museum gives you an insight into the naval history of Bulgaria through an extensive collection of weapons, military aircrafts, artillery, and many other exhibits. Day 3 in Varna

Start off early morning and head towards Aladzha Monastery. Located about 15 kilometer away from the city center, it would hardly take 20-30 minutes to reach the monastery. This is an Orthodox Christian cave Monastery dating back to the medieval era. The monastery caves feature colorful mosaics, frescos, and stone tombs. After exploring the monastery caves, start on your return journey to Varna. On the way back, make a stop at Euxinograd. This is a historic palace, dating back to the 19th century which served as a royal summer palace. The palace is constructed in 18th-century French château style of architecture. If you opt to tour the palace, you will be mesmerized by its interiors. The surrounding estate is covered in lovely gardens that are well-maintained. You will also be treated to panoramic views of the Black Sea upon visiting Euxinograd. After visiting the palace, continue on your return journey. Upon reaching Varna, if you have more time on your hands, you may spend it shopping in the town.
