Day 1 in Vienna:

Start your day 1 of 4 days in Vienna by talking a walking orientation tour as you pass through narrow alleyways, elegant boulevards, and the city’s many iconic monuments. Day 2 in Vienna:

Drive to the Vienna Woods on your day 2. As you drive from the city, pass the Roman city of Baden that is known for its thermal springs. Continue your drive as you pass through the scenic valley of Helenental. Next, Visit the Mayerling Hunting Lodge that is infamous thanks the scandal once rocked the royal family of Austria. It was at this lodge that the only son of Emperor Franz Joseph, Crown Prince Rudolph was found dead with his mistress. Later in the afternoon, continue to the Cistercian Abbey of Heiligenkreuz. This monastery is one of the oldest continuously occupied and dates back to the early 12th century. After lunch, visit the Seegrotte for a relaxing boat ride.

Back in the city, spend your evening exploring the food scenes of Vienna. Arrive at the city’s centre – Neubau and sample the coffee, chocolate, and fresh foods from local eateries. Day 3 in Vienna:

Set out to explore some more of Austria’s UNESCO-listed highlights on day 3 of your 4-day Vienna tour. Take a day trip to explore Salzburg, the Wachau Valley, and the Salzkammergut on this day.
