What to see in Warsaw in 6 days?

Day 1 and 2

Start your 6 days/ 5 nights in Warsaw from the Old Town of Warsaw. Often called as the tourism hub of Warsaw, the Old Town is home to many medieval buildings. The main attraction is Rynek Starego Miasta, the square of Old Town where you will taste the authentic Polish cuisine at one of the eateries. Stop by the 14th century St. John's Archcathedral. Head to the historic Castle Square to see the Sigismund's Column and then move to the Royal Palace of Warsaw that has been an official residence of Polish monarchs. You can also visit the places like Copper-Roof Palace, the monument of Mały Powstaniec, Maria Skłodowska-Curie Museum, the historic fortification of Warsaw Barbican, and the Museum of Warsaw. You can explore the Old Town Market of Warsaw during the evenings to buy some souvenir for your Poland trip and see the beautiful mermaid statue.

Day 3 and 4

Take a trip to the Kampinos National Park to discover the exotic flora and fauna of Poland. Enjoy hiking, biking, horseback riding, and fishing in the lush forest area of this national park. After spending the day at this green space, come back to the main city and head straight to the Warsaw Uprising Museum to learn the facts about Poland’s battle for independence in 1944. Just a few minutes from this is the Museum of Modern Art. Another important building to visit on your 6-day Warsaw trip is the Palace of Culture and Science that has been a center for Poland’s cultural activities. Watch a show at Warsaw Fotoplastikon and visit the National Museum of Warsaw next adjacent to which is the Polish Army Museum. Day 5 and 6

Cross the Vistula River and explore the other side of Warsaw which is home to over 5000 animals such as elephants, lions, and wolves. Next, you can make a trip to Praga, a Warsaw district located on the east bank of the river Vistula. Another beautiful attraction is the monumental park of Skaryszewski. On the banks of Vistula River, there is Copernicus Science Centre where you can attend one of the programs of the planetarium and see its robotic theatre. You would also like to take a tour of the neighborhood of Powiśle and enjoy Polish food at one of the food trucks and relax at a lively bistro.
