How to spend 1 day in Xiamen?

Morning

Begin your day at the Huweishan Park and see the meteorology tower of Hai Shang Ming Zhu. From here you can head to the Xiamen Science and Technology Museum which is a must-see place for kids. Spend some time at the Bailuzhou Park. Visit the Zhongshan Park that was built in the memory of the Old Xiamen. You can also choose to come here at night if the Lantern Festival is going on. Afternoon

In the afternoon, go for a trip to the island of Gulangyu. Evening
