How to spend 2 days in Yosemite National Park?
Day 1 in Yosemite: A small walk and a village tour
Start off by touring the Valley Floor. These 7 square miles of this park is probably one of the most famous parts of the park, and usually serves as the starting point for many. It is famous for the views that it offers, and it takes about 2 hours to tour it completely. The best part of this area is that you can tour it anytime during the year, as its topography is not complicated. Tunnel View and Bridalveil Fall are some of the sights that you must look out for.
Without cramping up too much in a day and doing everything at a comfortable pace, there is just one more thing that you can add to the day. It is recommended that you take a hike or a bike ride up to Mirror Lake. the meadows and the mountains are reflected beautifully in the still waters of the lake.
After touring the park, head back to the village to tour the museum and collect some souvenirs. A number of restaurants here serve the most delicious food. Be sure to try a meal here.
Day 2 in Yosemite: Hike, bike, click and picnic!
You can start off your second day at the park by going hiking. There are a number of trails at the park, which are actually quite famous. Some of them are even pet-friendly and wheelchair accessible. Lower Yosemite and Bridalveil Falls are some of the best options here.
For those adventure seekers, you can head out along the Mist Trail, or towards the Vernal Fall. It would be a great idea to carry a picnic basket to a packed lunch and enjoy a small outdoor meal. Sentinel Dome Trail to Glacier Point is famous for the picturesque views that it offers, so this can also be an option.
There are a lot of sunset points in Yosemite National Park. So, on your second day here, you can choose one and enjoy the setting golden sky.
