National Pantheon of the Heroes is a Catholic church which was established in 1863. The building of the church was built by Alejandro Ravizza who was an Italian architect himself and it possesses cultural heritage of the city. You can find different types of ornamental decorations inside the building of the church. Several historical events of the city are celebrated here in the church throughout the year. National Pantheon of the Heroes houses a mausoleum where you can find the graves of some public figures of the city namely as Mariscal José Félix Estigarribia, Mariscal Francisco Solano López and Don Carlos Antonio López.
