Lake Chivero Recreational Park, Harare Reviews - Write a Review
Nice area for picnic. The water flow is silted and not well maintained. With proper maintenance, the area is nice for picnic during warm weather.
Chivero Dam wall is a great spectacle in the rainy season. The main attraction, the game park and lake is still well stocked with game. Rhino, Giraffe can be seen amongst plains game....if you have a 4x4!!!! The roads are shocking.....no saloon cars anymore unless you want to leave an axle!!!! Even some of the game trails are "interesting" in 4x4
Beautiful view next to the water. Nice environment for events and picnic
Lake Chivero Dam is amazing, it’s such an exciting place to be . One of the hidden sites of Zimbabwe. The spillway is amazing
This is a great little park with lots of game. Only let down by the litter left by fishermen and uncaring visitors. It's an easy drive from Harare apart from the last 2km which is a pretty rough dirt road. Well worth a visit.
