Universal's Volcano Bay is the latest addition to many theme parks located at Universal Orlando. The theme park is inspired by Waturi, the native islanders who discovered Volcano Bay. There are many hotels located around the Volcano Bay Water Park if you are planning to stay inside the park. Ride at this water park includes: Krakatau Volcano, a large mountain that stands 200 feet above the park; Krakatau Aqua Coaster, a family slide that will send you plunging through a waterfall; Ko'kiri Body Plunge, a 70-degree fall through 125 feet slide; Kala & Tai Nui Serpentine Body Slides; and Punga Racers. Some other attractions include Waturi Beach, The Reef, Rainforest Village, and Maku Puihi.

  • The ambiance of this park makes it an easy number one of the four water parks that are in the immediate area. Love the feel and sounds and it's nice to have a more peaceful setting in the middle of the busy city. Love the music, setup and area that you can enjoy the views. We went early and went to Krakatoa first it was around 10 min wait when we were leaving it was 90. I feel we got our monies worth in the park that day. We went on 6 rides and enjoyed 4 pools including the "wave" pool were it's a requirement to wear a life vest. I think we went around 5 times. We had 4 rides with no wait and the longest was 45 minutes. Food options are not bad I went to app three areas to see options and yes they have pizza and burgers but you can get salads in others. Bar drinks were good but they should give you an option with no souvenir cup. Also please stop with straws and lids. I loved the cabanas maybe we will stay in one when we come back. We spent about 5 hours there and it was a great time.

  • Wicked day out! The wristbands are intuitive to use and work great to keep queue time down. Busy early September but not silly busy. We tend to ‘complete’ days early so had only factored 4 hours here but stayed 5 and could have stayed longer. Good mix of gentle rides and silly steep stuff. The Ride Staff seemed to be enjoying themselves too which helps add to the nice atmosphere.

  • My family and i had a ton of fun at Volcano Bay! It's pricey but it's worth it. The park is absolutely beautiful!! The customer service is amazing. The water slides are a blast. The kids areas are so nice and my five year old had a great time. The lines were not horrible for a Saturday in September. Very tech savvy park. We rented the exclusive seating area which includes private lockers and we had our drinks and food served to us-Very nice. The lazy River was beautiful and lots of fun. There's too much to do. Definitely go for more than one day if you're able.

  • Water Park of the Universal Parks franchise. It is a recently opened park, so in Orlando it is the newest of its kind. A Wearable is given to each visitor at the entrance which marks the entrance to each attraction and then you can retrieve photos with it. I liked the central stage, being a big volcano the center of the whole park where the highest slides come from. The Fearless River makes me happy, since you do not need the classic donuts to navigate it. It is worth visiting and slide in all attractions.

  • This is a very nice place to spend the day with family and friends. We decided to go in a kind of cold day so we had to leave early but in a warmer day I think this park is a wonderful place to have fun. The rides are enjoyable and the view is beautiful.
