National Historical Museum - Review
This lovely museum stands in what is called the Old Parliament house in Athens. The building itself is quite impressive and interesting to see. It used to house the Greek parliament in the late 1800s. And before that it was the Old Royal Palace. Due to this regal heritage, the architecture of the building is definitely an interesting sight.
The Museum has 24 different sections of exhibits. There are paintings, Engravings; architectural plans from ancient Greece, pieces of sculpture and many more things to see here. Ancient weapons and costumes also make a very interesting exhibit. It only makes sense to visit this museum in the historic city of Athens to delve into the past. Also, visit the popular attractions in the city by following Athens itinerary 7 days.
