Opened to the general public in 2002, the NTR Gardens are embellished by a variety of flora species, stunning modern art pieces and has cafes that offer the perfect ambience to relax surrounded by lush greenery!
The garden is dedicated to Shri N T Rama Rao- a former Prime Minister of Andhra Pradesh and covers an area of 36 acres adorned with a Japanese garden, a Desert Garden, a beautiful fountain and a huge cover of colorful flowers. The on-ground fruit restaurant (accommodated in a building that resemble fruits) and Car Café are shaded on a 2000-square-metre area that compliments the design of the garden.
The Machan Restaurant located in a tree shaped building is another one of the architectural highlights of the garden. Don’t forget to see the beautiful Bonsai plants kept in the Japanese Garden and end the day with a mouth-watering meal at one of the restaurants.
