The Olive tail is a narrow hiking trail that exhibits picturesque views of Lake Lugano and its surroundings. The trail can easily be accessed from the small village of Castagnola. The trail was once created by “Friends of the Olive Tree” and along the path you will see ancient olive trees with 18 sign boards providing insights on interesting olive facts.
