Madame Tussauds Wax Museum Tours
About Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, New York City
Madame Tussauds has more or less become a synonym of great artistic work combined with honoring some of the best personalities that the World has witnessed. Having a wax statue in Madame Tussauds is something that by itself is a very big deal for artists. Tussauds basically houses exact replicas of these artists. You can click pictures with these replicas, you might not get a chance to click a picture with real artists, but clicking a picture with their statues is atleast half as rewarding as the real experience. So keep your cameras ready and get ready too for a time filled with almost all your stars-in their true exact forms.

Great place to visit...Very refreshing to see such great customer service specifically Maya and Javier Pabon from the wax hands counter. Very pleasant, funny, and helpful. As business owners me and my wife really enjoyed ourselves. We thank Maya for making our beautiful wax hands and doing such a wonderful job. Javier best people person I've met so far. I would definitely recommend this as a place to visit and make it complete by visiting these two.
I loved it. The best thing? None of the wax figures are behind ropes or off limits, so you can take any type of funny or inappropriate picture that you like with your favorite celebrity! Lol... If your a tourist, this is a must see. Just make sure you have a coupon or some other coupon. There is no reason to ever pay the full admission price. Coupon booklets can usually be found in Times Square area.
Some of the statues are very realistic and life like, not all of them though. There are several floors. Each floor has its own theme. Some I liked, some I didn't. Overall it is a well put presentation. This place is not a museum, so don't expect one. It is an entertainment center. To be honest I was expecting more international and historical celebrities, however I found that most of the statutes are portraits of resent and pop culture icons. Finally it is a little on the expensive side.
Tourist trap. WAY overpriced. Some decent things to see, but it’s A LOT shorter than you’d expect for the price. The ones in London and Las Vegas are much better. We went today and it was way too crowded to enjoy. They pack people in there and the drinks are too high. Skip it and do something else.
Total tourist trap. Not many wax figures at all! I paid $70 for my fiancé and I to tour and at the exit we were both disappointed. I'd say that this attraction is worth $15 at MOST and they want double. Plus neither stall door to the women's bathroom actually shut. What's up with that? I'd skip this attraction and take your money to one of the museums. The Jewish Heritage museum is free Wednesdays after 4pm.
