  • I cannot lie and say I hated it. It was enjoyable and my little brother found it quite enjoyable as well. Unfortunately this is not a good zoo compared to some of the one's I've seen. Think Busch Gardens Florida, Disney world animal kingdom, and the Atlanta Zoo. Huge spaces for the animals to roam around and run. That is not this zoo. The most tragic was the jaguar exhibit that was literally the size of some small lizard exhibits I've seen. The animal paced around in a circle that you could tell had been repeated thousands of times throughout its life. This is inhumane even for animals born in captivity. Most of the exhibits shared these same conditions and it was very disheartening to see. My advice to the zoo: Charge more for admission. Of course everyone is happy to be paying 500 yen to get in, but the animals are paying the price with terrible conditions. They could easily double the price of admission (1000 adult/400 child) and I would still pay it and I know most people would as well. Atlanta zoo, for example, charges over 2000 yen for adults and I don't think there's readmission. This zoo allows coming and going and we spent around 5 hours there. Just take my money and improve the lives of the animals.

  • This zoo is small and dose NOT have enough space for the animals. This is an example of a zoo run by people who are uneducated or don’t care at all. I don’t recommend people to go and support a zoo that obviously isn’t providing for animals properly. Some exhibits were huge for small animals and tiny for huge animals. If only they would have signs with more information to educate the people who come here.

  • It's a good place to visit for part of your day, good place to bring kids. They have exhibits for many animals. The place is well kept and they have food stands.

  • You see, I agree it’s nothing compared to San Diego or Atlanta which have big spaces for animals but before reviewing you got to understand something It’s Japan, it hasn’t 1000 square meters space remaining but honestly I’d expect more, but it’s not a day loss

  • Very nice place and have a pretty much animal here from around the world, even it has a bad side here. I'm still enjoy it
