This charming 1.5 hectare garden was originally conceived as a Cold Greenhouse, but now has a Hot and Sweet section too.
The Cold section’s temperature is controlled by natural, non-electrical methods such as architecture and light control; it is home to azalea and camellias, and the Tasmanian fetus. These species are acquire from China, Australia, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, West Indies, and the Korean Peninsula
The Hot Greenhouse mostly stores tropical plants; the most popular of which, over here, is coffee and banana. The Sweet Greenhouse houses mealy plants known for their sap and water retention ability, such as cacti and aloe vera.
