Mercato Pignasecca - Review
Naples’ oldest street market is the most authentic look at the folk of the city. It is almost always crowded in the morning, thanks to the long rows of stalls selling fresh produce. Other goods on offer include linen, apparel, meats, CDs, sweets and fries. It’s hard to appreciate the familiarity of the place as a tourist, but you should see how devotedly loyal and the customers are to their vendors. Bargain, and have fun. Don’t be scared off if people get too loud.

Mercato Pignasecca, Naples Reviews
Brilliant market, loads of cheap fruit, veg and fish. Would definitely recommend going earlier in the day, we went around 1pm and you could tell they were packing up for the day. But great value for everything
Interesting place, where you will meet a lot of people, little shops, where you can eat the best fried pizza
Great place to visit. Napoli is the place to be. Great food beautiful views. Wonderful people.
Only go if you are into the food part, not if you are looking for stuff, like fleamarket or such. Mainly seafood is offered, fresh, and vegetables etc. I came especially as it was online mentioned as fleamarket - it's not a fleamarket. If you come with another set of expectations, you might enjoy it. I wasn't impressed by the area at all, but online people claim it's great - I don't know why...
So far, the best market experience to have in Naples!!!
